Always show up early. Had to re-purchase another set of plane tickets for Singapore because the accompanying credit card number was not made available by the organizers who invited me. Lesson learned. Have to check details like these. Fraud is prevalent and other countries do not have requirements like ours. The PAL staff was sympathetic and handled the situation well.

The people to worry about are not those who openly disagree with you, but those who disagree with you who are too cowardly to let you know.
And then they move silently underground. Always do what is right even if it is unpopular.

Off to Bali Indonesia for a training engagement with the leaders of an international company. Can’t wait to meet people from different countries and learn from them.

Every time I talk to students and ask them a question: “What is love?” invariably someone in the crowd would shout: “Love is blind.” And I will say that is the most stupid understanding of what love is.
Most “love” people know is selfish. The God-kind of love isn’t! Here is my take on this:
Love is what is left of a relationship after all the selfishness has been removed. And Louise Beal says it right:
Love thy neighbor as thyself, but choose your neighborhood.
